Texas High School Baseball - Smithson Valley can't hold off New Braunfels

In Friday's league game, the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Smithson Valley Rangers.
The Unicorns (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Hays (Buda, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Hays was edged by San Marcos (San Marcos, TX), 2-1, in a league game.
The Rangers (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 6A Region IV District 27 game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Clemens tipped Judson (Converse, TX), 19-6, in a league game.
