The South Ridge Mavericks held off the host Imagine Prep Coolidge Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mavericks now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage Academy for a CAA Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 5.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their test against BASIS - Scottsdale (Scottsdale, AZ). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, BASIS - Scottsdale was nudged by Thunderbird Adventist Academy (Scottsdale, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league test.
