Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bruins confront the Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 28. Blacksburg will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record.
The Knights now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Christiansburg for a River Ridge challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Cave Spring will confront a Blue Demons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 2-1.
