With the victory, Richlands moves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Wildcats host West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to battle the Patriots in a Coastal 3A bout on Thursday, March 31. The Patriots enter the bout with a record of 4-1.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 28. East Duplin will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC).
