The Chavez Eagles baseball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers to 9 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their match against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Huskies go into the match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, North Hollywood was overwhelmed by San Fernando (San Fernando, CA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Vipers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots go into the match with a 4-5 record.
