Virginia High School Softball - Western Albemarle bounces William Monroe

The Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) softball routed the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), 12-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.

The Dragons now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Spotsylvania for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 26. William Monroe will confront a Knights squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Brooke Point (Stafford, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
