The Central Regional Golden Eagles triumphed over the visiting Long Branch Green Wave lacrosse team by a score of 12-7 in Friday's non-league match.
With the win, Central Regional upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ) to play the Rams in a Shore A - South match on Saturday, April 2. The Rams go into the match with a record of 1-0. Southern Regional won 13-2 in their recent non-league match against Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ)
With the defeat, Long Branch drops to 0-2 on the season. The Green wave travel to Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ) to play the Griffins in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 30. The Griffins go into the match with a record of 0-0.
