Texas High School Softball - Kermit topped by Alpine

The Alpine Bucks softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Kermit Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Bucks league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Alpine moves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Bucks travel to Presidio (Presidio, TX) to play the Blue Devils in a 3A Region I District 4 game on Friday, April 1. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 3-4. Presidio lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Monahans (Monahans, TX)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets play the Anthony Wildcats (Anthony, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 game, on Saturday, April 9. Kermit will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
