In Friday's league outing, the host Alvarado Indians softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Godley Wildcats.
Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 29. Alvarado will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record. The Porcupines enter the outing with a 9-9 record after their 6-2 league loss to Krum (Krum, TX).
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Venus (Venus, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region II District 11 outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Venus tipped Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 20-5, in a league outing.
