Texas High School Softball - Beckville gets by Timpson

The Beckville Bearcats got by the visiting Timpson Bears softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Friday's league battle.

The Bearcats (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Joaquin (Joaquin, TX). The Rams go into the 2A Region III District 22 battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Joaquin nudged Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX), 8-7, in a league battle.

The Bears now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Garrison for a 2A Region III District 22 battle on Tuesday, March 29. Timpson will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-8 league loss to Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-9.
