Spectators at Friday's league match between the Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC) and the host North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC), witnessed Buford's softball squad prevail over North Central by a count of 15-1.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Central for a AA Region 4 match on Tuesday, March 29. Buford will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, North Central moves to 1-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Lewisville (Richburg, SC) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 30. The Lions go into the match with a record of 9-2. Lewisville won 23-2 in their recent league match against Great Falls (Great Falls, SC)
