Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clover Garden School for a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Chatham Charter will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, River Mill falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to face the Lions in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Monday, March 28. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Southern Wake Academy lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)
