Texas High School Softball - Lone Oak loses to Chisum

The Chisum Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Lone Oak Buffaloes to 3 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Chisum improves its record to 12-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Prairiland (Pattonville, TX) to clash with the Patriots in a 3A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 8-3. Prairiland won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX)

In their next game, the Buffaloes clash with the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 game, on Tuesday, March 29. Lone Oak will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
