In Friday's non-league contest, the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 11-1.

With the triumph, Cibola moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Cougars host West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Dons in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 26. The Dons come into the contest with a record of 2-4. West Las Vegas lost 14-11 in their recent non-league contest against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)

In their next game, the Vikings play the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 25. Valley will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Valley (Albuquerque, NM).
