In Friday's league contest, the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Clover Garden School moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Grizzlies host Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to play the Knights in a Central Tar Heel 1A contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 3-5.
In their next game, the Lions play the River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A contest, on Monday, March 28. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
