The Smithson Valley Rangers softball team (Spring Branch, TX), was routed 6-1 in Friday's league test with the visiting East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX)

Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 test, on Tuesday, March 29. East Central will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Buffaloes come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 5-1 league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX).

The Rangers (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights come into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Steele was routed by Judson (Converse, TX), 10-0, in a league test.
