North Carolina High School Softball - Salisbury East Davidson

Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 6-3 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lexington for a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Salisbury will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, East Davidson falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to South Davidson (Denton, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-0.
