The Tom Bean Tomcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Ector Eagles to 3 in the Tomcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Tom Bean improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Tomcats host Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a 2A Region II District 15 game on Friday, April 1. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 4-4.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 game, on Tuesday, March 29. Ector will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 14-8 league loss to Dodd City (Dodd City, TX).
