Kentucky High School Softball - Elliott County gets by Magoffin County

The Elliott County Lions got by the visiting Magoffin County Hornets softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record.

The Hornets now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Floyd Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 30. Magoffin County will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-5.
