The Estacado Matadors softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Snyder Tigers to 2 in the Matadors league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Estacado improves its record to 8-17 on the year. The Matadors host Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 4A Region I District 3 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 13-7. Sweetwater won 7-5 in their recent league game against Levelland (Levelland, TX)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 game, on Tuesday, March 29. Snyder will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Steers come into the game with a 12-5 record after their 21-1 league win over Lake View (San Angelo, TX).
