Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Billies now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Boerne for a 4A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Fredericksburg will battle a Greyhounds squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Wimberley falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Texans host Davenport (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Wolves in a 4A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. Davenport lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Boerne (Boerne, TX)
