In Friday's league outing, the host Hallsville Bobcats softball team scored a nice 18-4 win over the Marshall Mavericks.
Coming up next, the Bobcats battle the Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 outing, on Tuesday, March 29. Hallsville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 15-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Pine Tree (Longview, TX).
The Mavericks (9-13) will now prepare for their outing against Longview (Longview, TX). The Lobos enter the 5A Region II District 15 outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Longview ran past Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 6-3, in a league outing.
