The Harleton Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Waskom Wildcats to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Harleton improves its record to 6-10 on the year. The Wildcats host West Rusk (New London, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 3A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 20-0. West Rusk won 15-5 in their recent league game against Jefferson (Jefferson, TX)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Troup Tigers (Troup, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 game, on Tuesday, March 29. Waskom will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 15-6 record after their 7-0 league win over Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX).
