The Hooks Hornets softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Pewitt Brahmas to 3 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Hooks improves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Hornets host Redwater (Redwater, TX) to clash with the Dragons in a 3A Region II District 14 game on Friday, April 1. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 18-7.
In their next game, the Brahmas clash with the Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 game, on Tuesday, March 29. Pewitt will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 13-7 record after their 17-0 league win over New Boston (New Boston, TX).
