The Joaquin Rams (Joaquin, TX) softball nipped the visiting Shelbyville Dragons (Shelbyville, TX), 8-7 in Friday's league bout.

The Rams (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Bearcats go into the 2A Region III District 22 bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, Beckville held off Timpson (Timpson, TX), 5-4, in a league bout.
