North Carolina High School Softball - Scotland bounces Lee County

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) and the host Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), witnessed Scotland's softball squad prevail over Lee County by a count of 17-0.

The Fighting Scots now sport a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Richmond for a Sandhills 3A/4A match on Tuesday, March 29. Scotland will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Lee County moves to 0-6 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to meet the Vikings in a Sandhills 3A/4A match on Friday, April 1. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 5-5.
