Tennessee High School Softball - McMinn County gets by Sweetwater

March 25, 2022: Athens, TN 37303

The McMinn County Cherokees got by the visiting Sweetwater Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Cherokees (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rhea County (Evensville, TN). The Golden Eagles go into the 4A District 5 battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Rhea County nudged Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN), 10-9, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Appalachian Christian for a battle on Monday, April 4.
