The Grenada Chargers baseball team (Grenada, MS), was overwhelmed 10-2 in Saturday's league outing with the host Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS)

The Chargers now hold a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Starkville for a 6A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, March 28. Oxford will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 7-6 league loss to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-3.

Next, the Chargers face the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) in a 6A Region 1 outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Grenada will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Golden Wave enter the outing with a 9-9 record after their 7-6 league win over Starkville (Starkville, MS).
