The Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) baseball the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), 9-4 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lakers play the South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 25. Russell County will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY).
