The Avalon Lancers volleyball team (Avalon, CA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA)

The Falcons (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Matadores come into the Suburban challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, La Mirada went down by Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers encounter the Southlands Christian Eagles (Rowland Heights, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 31. Avalon will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA).
