In Saturday's non-league test, the host Asheville School (Independent) Blues lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-9 victory over the Forsyth Country Day Furies.
The Blues now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greensboro Day School for a non-league test on Friday, March 31. Asheville School (Independent) will face a Bengals squad coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 1-3.
In their next game, the Furies face the Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a Freelance test, on Friday, March 31. Forsyth Country Day will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-0 record after their 24-14 league win over St. David's (Raleigh, NC).
