Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bethesda Christian Lions (Fort Worth, TX), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muleshoe for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Lubbock Christian will battle a Mules squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Mules record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Bethesda Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Newman International Academy (Arlington, TX) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
