Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX), 9-8 in a league challenge.

The Rams now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clark for a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Marshall will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Reagan (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Brandeis falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Broncos host Lee (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Volunteers in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Volunteers enter the challenge with a record of 9-8.
