The DeSoto Central Jaguars softball team (Southaven, MS), was routed 6-3 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS)

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Northwest Rankin will attempt to better on its 15-1 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS).

The Jaguars now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hernando for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 28. DeSoto Central will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 16-4.
