The Montwood Rams softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting El Dorado Aztecs to 6 in the Rams league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Montwood moves its record to 10-13 on the year. The Rams travel to Coronado (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a 6A Region I District 1 match on Tuesday, March 28. The Thunderbirds go into the match with a record of 5-16. Coronado lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Socorro (El Paso, TX)

With the loss, El Dorado moves to 12-12 on the season. The Aztecs host Franklin (El Paso, TX) to face the Cougars in a 6A Region I District 1 match on Tuesday, March 28. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 4-16. Franklin lost 14-6 in their recent league match against Eastwood (El Paso, TX)
