Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bengals now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Gallup will battle a Scorpions squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Miyamura falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Gallup (Gallup, NM) to battle the Bengals in a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Bengals enter the challenge with a record of 5-8.
