Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX), 26-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Slaton for a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Idalou will face a Tigers squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Childress (Childress, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Roosevelt moves to 5-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Childress (Childress, TX) to face the Bobcats in a 3A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, March 28. The Bobcats go into the match with a record of 3-13.
