Inchelium Hornets (Inchelium, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wildcats (Creston, WA), 11-3 in a league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Tekoa-Rosalia for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. Inchelium will battle a Timberwolves squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Liberty Christian (Richland, WA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Wilbur-Creston-Keller falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Waterville/Mansfield (Waterville, WA) to battle the in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. The enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
