The West Wendover Wolverines softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host North Tahoe Lakers to 2 in the Wolverines league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, West Wendover moves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Wolverines host Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A- Northern game on Friday, March 31. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 11-2. Pershing County won 17-0 in their recent league game against Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV)

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV) in a 2A- Northern game, on Tuesday, March 28. North Tahoe will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Nighthawks come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 17-0 league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV).
