The Whetstone Braves baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Beechcroft Cougars to 0 in the Braves league victory on Monday.

The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Madison Plains (London, OH). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Madison Plains was overwhelmed by Centerburg (Centerburg, OH), 14-2, in a non-league match.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Mifflin (Columbus, OH). The Punchers go into the Columbus City - North match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Mifflin gained a win over Columbus International (Columbus, OH), 23-0, in a league match.
