Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) and the host Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA), saw Clinch County's baseball squad knock off Georgia Christian by a count of 9-7.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 2 battle, on Tuesday, March 26. Clinch County will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 14-0 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA).
The Generals now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westwood for a GIAA AA District 3 battle on Thursday, March 28.
