The Holmes Bulldogs baseball team (Covington, KY), was overwhelmed 23-0 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY)
The Colonels now hold a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Cross for a District 35 outing on Tuesday, March 26. Covington Catholic will confront a Indians team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Cooper (Union, KY). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Covington Latin Trojans (Covington, KY) in a District 35 outing, on Wednesday, March 27. Holmes will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
