The Jamestown Eagles baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Essex Trojans to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their match against New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Trojans go into the Bay Rivers match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, New Kent gained a win over Grafton (Yorktown, VA), 7-5, in a league match.
The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their match against King William (King William, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, King William gained a win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA), 5-2, in a non-league match.
