The John Paul II Catholic Saints baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Jones Trojans to 2 in the Saints non-league victory on Monday.
The Saints (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Greenfield ran past Epiphany (New Bern, NC), 21-0, in a league match.
The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Bethel Christian Academy ran past Southside Christian (Clayton, NC), 6-2, in a league match.
