In Monday's league test, the host Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks.
The Chiefs now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Spanish River for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 26. Cardinal Gibbons will face a Sharks squad coming off a 16-4 non-league win over Coral Glades (Coral Springs, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 3-5.
