North Carolina High School Soccer - Northeastern overwhelmed by Manteo

The Manteo Redskins smashed the host Northeastern Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Monday's league match.

The Redskins now sport a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Catholic for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 27. Manteo will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Northeastern drops to 2-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Currituck County (Barco, NC) to encounter the Knights in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Wednesday, March 27.
