North Carolina High School Soccer - Providence Grove knocks off Trinity

The Providence Grove Patriots soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Trinity Bulldogs to 1 in the Patriots league victory on Monday.

Next, the Patriots face the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A contest, on Wednesday, March 27. Providence Grove will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 5-2 league loss to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC).

The Bulldogs now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Grove for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 27. Trinity will face a Grizzlies team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-3.
