The Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH) softball routed the visiting Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH), 19-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Shamrocks (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH). The Purple Riders go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Martins Ferry was routed by Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV), 15-0, in a league bout.
