The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY) and the visiting Babylon Panthers (Babylon, NY), saw Smithtown West's lacrosse team achieve victory over Babylon by a margin of 11-5.

The (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East Islip (Islip Terrace, NY). The Redmen enter the Section 11 I challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, East Islip edged Sayville (Sayville, NY), 14-5, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocky Point (Rocky Point, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Rocky Point was overwhelmed by Shoreham-Wading River (Shoreham, NY), 13-3, in a league challenge.
