Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. Allen County-Scottsville will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Glasgow falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Scotties host Barren County (Glasgow, KY) to battle the Trojans in a District 15 challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. Barren County lost 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY)
